بررسی و مقایسۀ شاخص‌های ارزیابی چاقی در دانشجویان دانشگاه علوم پزشکی جندی‌شاپور اهواز

چکیده

زمینه و هدف: چاقی بیماری مزمن و پیچیده­ای است که به­صورت افزایش درصد چربی بدن تعریف می­گردد. امروزه چاقی به یکی از مهم­ترین معضلات سلامت عمومی در جهان تبدیل شده است؛ به­طوری­که با افزایش شیوع چاقی، شیوع عوارض نامطلوب مرتبط با چاقی نیز افزایش می‌یابد. آن‌چه بیشتر از وزن اهمیت دارد میزان چربی بدن است که به­واسطۀ برخی روش‌های پیشرفته قادر به ارزیابی میزان چربی بدن هستیم، ولی دشواری و هزینۀ گران این روش‌ها، ضرورت یافتن روش قابل جایگزینی را یادآوری می‌نماید.
روش‌ بررسی: در این مطالعۀ مقطعی، 272 نفر دانشجوی اهوازی به شیوۀ تصادفی طبقه‌ای انتخاب شدند و درصد چربی بدن با کمک دستگاه BIA و شاخصه‌های آنتروپومتری آن­ها ارزیابی گردید.
یافته‌ها: همبستگی قوی بین AVI، BMI و WHtR در مردان و BMI، BAI و WHtR در زنان نسبت به درصد چربی بدن مشاهده گردید. مدل رگرسیون خطی برای پیشگویی درصد چربی بدن از متغیرهای آنتروپومتری ایجاد شد؛ به­طوری­که متغیرهای جنس، BMI و AVI، 85 درصد از تفاوت های درصد چربی بدن را تشریح کردند.
نتیجه‌گیری: نتیجۀ تحقیق نشان داد، مدل رگرسیونی، ما را در تخمین چربی بدن، بدون استفاده از آنالیزگرهای ترکیب بدن و فقط با استفاده از قدسنج و ترازو توانا می­سازد.
