بررسی آگاهی، نگرش و عملکرد دندان‌پزشکان و دانشجویان دندان‌پزشکی در ارزیابی بیماران و رعایت اصول کنترل عفونت در دوران همه‌گیری کووید-19

چکیده
زمینه و هدف: با توجه به ماهیت شدیداً واگیردار ویروس کرونا (SARS-CoV-2)، ارائه‌دهندگان خدمات دندان‌پزشکی، به‌ویژه به‌دلیل تماس نزدیک با بیماران و انجام روش‌های تولیدکننده آئروسل، در معرض خطر بالای ابتلا و انتقال قرار دارند. هدف این مطالعه بررسی میزان آگاهی، نگرش و عملکرد دندان‌پزشکان و دانشجویان دندان‌پزشکی در ارزیابی بیماران در دوران همه‌گیری کووید-19 و رعایت اصول کنترل عفونت بود.
روش بررسی: این پژوهش توصیفی ـ مقطعی با مشارکت 363 نفر در سراسر کشور انجام شد. داده‌ها از طریق پرسش‌نامه‌ای الکترونیکی با شاخص پایایی مطلوب (آلفای کرونباخ بالای 0/7 در تمامی ابعاد) گردآوری شد.
یافته‌ها: نتایج نشان داد که شرکت‌کنندگان در ابعاد مختلف، ازجمله مدیریت بیمار، خدمات کلینیکی و مهندسی محیط، آگاهی مناسبی داشتند. میان ابعاد پرسش‌نامه هم‌بستگی مثبت و معناداری وجود داشت. متغیرهایی مانند سن، سابقه کار و شرکت در وبینارهای آموزشی رابطه معناداری با نمرات کل داشتند، درحالی‌که جنسیت و مدرک تحصیلی تنها در برخی ابعاد مانند عملکرد تفاوت معناداری نشان داد.
نتیجهگیری: یافته‌ها بیانگر آن است که آموزش مستمر، به‌ویژه از طریق وبینارهای هدفمند، در ارتقای آمادگی دندان‌پزشکان در مقابله با تهدیدات اپیدمیولوژیک آینده نقش مؤثری ایفا می‌کند. همچنین، رعایت دقیق پروتکل‌های حفاظتی و کاهش تولید آئروسل می‌تواند به کاهش خطر انتقال در محیط‌های دندان‌پزشکی کمک کند.
