The aim of this study was to determine the impact of using video technology by pharmacist on reduction of insulin pen errors in Patients with diabetes type 2 who referred to the Ahwaz diabetes clinic. Subjects and Methods: In a quasi-experimental study, 130 diabetic patients who initiated insulin pen during one year (2018) included the study if they met inclusion criteria. Then, they were divided into two intervention and control groups by random allocation method. A video was used to educate the intervention group or their companion. A month later and three months after the date of the first interview, the two groups were re-invited to do the post-test. Results: The average age of patients was 54.02(SD, 10.92) years. The average duration of insulin pen initiation was 4.69 (SD, 0.93) months. Video training has a significant effect on the reduction of errors including injection in same site (from63.1% to36.9%), arbitrary change in dosage or frequency of injection (16.9% to 7.7%) and the missing of insulin use (63.1% to 47.7%) in the intervention group. The mean of a needle use reduced from 4.36 to 2.20 times in intervention group. There was a significant difference between the two groups in incidence of pen insulin errors after education (P<0.05). Conclusion: Despite a significant reduction in errors in some areas, the incidence of insulin pen use errors is still high, suggesting interference from other factors beyond the level of knowledge of patients.}, keywords = {Video tutorials,Insulin pen,diabetes type 2,Pharmacist}, title_fa = {تاثیر آموزش بر کاهش خطاهای مصرف انسولین قلمی در بیماران مبتلا به دیابت نوع 2}, abstract_fa = {زمینه و هدف: انسولین یکی از جنبههای چالش برانگیز درمان دیابت میباشد. مطالعه حاضر با هدف تعیین تاثیر نمایش ویدیوی آموزشی توسط داروساز بر کاهش خطاهای رایج حین مصرف انسولین قلمی در بیماران مبتلا به دیابت نوع 2 مراجعه کننده به کلینیک دیابت  بیمارستان گلستان شهر اهوازانجام شد. روش بررسی: در یک مطالعه نیمه تجربی 130 بیمار دیابتی که طی یکسال اخیر مصرف انسولین قلمی را شروع کرده بودند به شرط داشتن معیارهای ورود  به مطالعه وارد شدند و  سپس به روش تخصیص تصادفی به دو گروه مداخله و کنترل تقسیم شدند. ویدیوی آموزشی جهت آموزش بیماران گروه مداخله نمایش داده میشد. یک ماه بعد و سه ماه بعد از اولین مصاحبه مجددا از بیماران دو گروه جهت انجام پس آزمون دعوت به عمل میآمد. یافته ها: میانگین و انحراف معیار سن بیماران (92/10) 02/54 سال بود. میانگین مدت استفاده  از انسولین قلمی 69/4 (انحراف معیار، 93/0) ماه بود. آموزش ویدیویی تاثیر معنی داری بر کاهش خطاهای ناشی از تزریق در محل قبلی (1/63 % به 9/36 %) تغییر خودسرانه دوز دارو یا دفعات تزریق(از 9/16% به 7/7 %) و فراموشی مصرف انسولین در گروه مداخله داشت(1/63% به 7/47%). میانگین استفاده از هر سوزن از  36/4 بار به 40/2 کاهش یافت. تفاوت معنیداری بین دو گروه از نظر میزان بروز خطاها مشاهده گردید (05/0 P<). نتیجه گیری: علیرغم کاهش قابل توجه خطاها در برخی زمینهها، بروز خطا  در مصرف انسولین کماکان در سطح بالایی است که مطرح کننده دخالت عوامل دیگری به غیر از سطح آگاهی بیماران می باشد.}, keywords_fa = {آموزش ویدیویی,انسولین قلمی,دیابت نوع 2,داروساز}, url = {https://jsmj.ajums.ac.ir/article_86794.html}, eprint = {https://jsmj.ajums.ac.ir/article_86794_774f3d8c76c33f07fe92e77387c51bb2.pdf} }
