Two main types are classified as α-and β -Thalassemia..More than 95 % of known cases of α- Thalassemia is due to the deletion of one or two genes, α- globin chains of chromosomes (2). Subject and Methods: In this cross-sectional study, 17,581persons, blood parameters were measured. subjects having MCV <80, MCH <27, HBA2 ≥ 3/5 of the carriers β- Thalassemia gene were considered, from whom 50 persons were andomly selected and genetic laboratory to identify the mutation was referred(4). Results: From 17,581, 995 applicant, equivalent (5.6%) of carriers of β-thalassemia trait with frequency variation in mutatiomn gene in IVSІІ-1(25%), IVSІ-110 (16%), CD 36/37(15%), IVSІ-S(8%), CD5(9%), IVSІ-6(7%), IVSІ-1(5%), CD39(5%).While the genotype frequencies for α-thalassemia mutations were αα/med- -with 11percent and -α3.7 /-α3.7 , αα/-α4.2with10% and 7% respectively Eighty of these cases were carrier of deletion mutation genotype αα/αpoly A2α  and 9% α-thalassemia mutation genotype were non-deletion (4). Conclusions: This study showed that the prevalence of thalassemia minor in Abadan and Khorramshahr 5.6 percent is. The most common mutation was IVSII-I type. The frequency of α- thalassemia is 6.65 percent .The α-gene carriers and the most alpha chain gene disorders group αα /-α3.7with50% frequency(6).  }, keywords = {Anemia,Thalassemia,Genetic variation,PCR}, title_fa = {بررسی تنوع ژنتیکی زنجیره های آلفا و بتا در مزدوجین در شهرستان های آبادان و خرمشهر}, abstract_fa = {زمینه و هدف: تالاسمی نوعی کم خونی ارثی است که به صورت الفا و بتا می باشد. بیش از 95 درصد آلفا تالاسمی به علت حذف یک یا دو ژن زنجیره آلفا گلوبین از کروموزوم 6 است(2). در این مطالعه تنوع ژنتیکی 50 نفر از تالاسمی مینور بررسی شده است. روش بررسی: در این مطالعه تحلیلی مقطعی از 17581 نفر اندیکسهای خونی اندازه گیری شد و با  نرمافزار SPSS افرادی که MCV<80,MCH<27, HBA2≥3/5 بودند حامل ژن بتا تالاسمی تشخیص و از این تعداد 50 نفر بصورت تصادفی انتخاب و به آزمایشگاه ژنتیک برای شناسایی نوع موتاسیون ارجاع گردید(4). یافته ها: از 17581 ، 995 نفر معادل 6/5 درصد حامل بتا تالاسمی مینور بودند که تنوع ژنهای اختلال یافته ، شامل IVSII-I با 25 درصد وIVSI-110 با 16 درصد وCD36/37 با 15 درصد IVSI-5 با 8 درصد وcd5 با 9 درصد وIVSI-6 با 7 درصد و IVSI-1 با 5 درصد وCD39 با 5 درصد، همچنین درصد فراوانی ژنوتیپ های موتاسیون های آلفا تالاسمی به شرح αα/med- - با 11 درصد و3.7α -/3.7α - با10 درصد وαα/4.2α- با 7 درصد به ترتیب بالاترین ژنوتیپ های موتاسیون حذفی را شامل شده اند و مجموعاً 80 درصد از ژنوتیپ های موتاسیون یافته از نوع حذفی وαα/αpoly A2α با 9 درصد ژنوتیپ غیرحذفی موتاسیون های آلفا تالاسمی بودند(4). نتیجه گیری: این مطالعه نشان دادکه فراوانی بتا تالاسمی مینور در مزدوجین آبادان و خرمشهر 6/5 درصد و شایعترین موتاسیون IVSII-I بوده، همچنین فراوانی آلفاتالاسمی 65/6 درصد، که در این پژوهش حاملین ژن آلفا تالاسمی و در بین اختلالات ژنی زنجیره آلفا گروه αα/ 3.7α- بافراوانی 50 درصد بالاترین را به خود اختصاص داده است(6).}, keywords_fa = {کم خونی-.تالاسمی.- تنوع ژنتیکیPCR-}, url = {https://jsmj.ajums.ac.ir/article_52088.html}, eprint = {https://jsmj.ajums.ac.ir/article_52088_c92a49f2291693a0fa10e37bf70724b8.pdf} }
