The usual clinical finding is a painless mass leading to the expansion of bone. The most effective treatment is radical surgical excision. These  neoplasms are rare but important requiring prompt diagnosis and treatment because on microscopic examination chondrosarcoma may be difficult to differentiate from chondroblastic osteosarcoma.
