Subjects and Methods: The present study was an open-label randomized clinical trial, and compared the effectiveness of citalopram with venlafaxine in 80 outpatients with mild to moderate atypical depression based on DSM-IV-TR criteria using Beck depression questionnaire, who visited Akhavan clinic and Razi Psychiatric Hospital in Shahre Rey, Tehran. Evaluation of symptoms improvement and incidence of side effects were carried out fortnightly with the use of a clinical interview or by telephone up to eight weeks. Results: Although venlafaxine group showed more decline in Beck scores, statistical analysis of the results showed no significant differences in declined Beck scores in citalopram group (with the mean score of 6.42 ± 11.78) versus venlafaxine group (with the  mean score of 7.87± 8.03 ) (P=0.522). Conclusion: Both citalopram and venlafaxine were effective in atypical depression treatment, and no significant difference was found. However venlafaxine was more effective in reduction of sleep duration and caused weight loss.}, keywords = {Venlafaxine,Citalopram,Atypical depression}, title_fa = {مقایسۀاثر سیتالوپرام و ونلافاکسین در درمان افسردگی آتیپیک}, abstract_fa = {زمینه و هدف: هدف از این مطالعه،مقایسۀ اثر سیتالوپرام و ونلافاکسین در درمان افسردگی آتیپیک بیماران مراجعهکنندۀ سرپایی به درمانگاه اخوان شهر تهران و درمانگاه اورژانس بیمارستان روانپزشکی رازی شهر ری است. روش بررسی:مطالعۀ حاضر به روش کارآزمایی بالینی تصادفی به مقایسۀ اثر سیتالوپرام و ونلافاکسین در 80 بیمار مبتلا به افسردگی آتیپیک خفیف تا متوسطمراجعهکنندۀ سرپایی به درمانگاه اخوان و درمانگاه اورژانس بیمارستان روانپزشکی رازی شهر تهرانبر اساس DSM-IV-TR و پرسشنامۀ افسردگی بک پرداخته است.مقدار بهبود علایم و بررسی از نظر عوارض جانبی دارو هر دو هفته با استفاده از مصاحبۀبالینی یا در صورت عدم همکاری بهصورت تلفنی(بجز ابتدا و انتهای مطالعه) تا 8 هفته بررسی شد. یافتهها: تفاوت کاهش نمرۀ بک در گروه سیتالوپرام با میانگین 77/11±42/6 و در گروه ونلافاکسین با میانگین 03/8±87/7معنادار نشان نداد (522/0=P)؛هرچند ونلافاکسین کاهش بیشتری در نمرۀ بک ایجاد کرد. نتیجهگیری:سیتالوپرام و ونلافاکسین هر دو در درمان افسردگی آتیپیک مؤثر گزارش شدند و تفاوت معناداری در مقدار اثر این دو دارو یافت نشد. ونلافاکسین در کاهش خواب و کاهش وزن بیماران مؤثرتر بود.}, keywords_fa = {سیتالوپرام,ونلافاکسین,افسردگی آتیپیک}, url = {https://jsmj.ajums.ac.ir/article_47351.html}, eprint = {https://jsmj.ajums.ac.ir/article_47351_3750dffdefcd18ffdd641bfd1b46dd3d.pdf} }
