Since the diagnosis of the periapical lesion is based on the observation of radiolucency in the teeth periapical area, the objective of this study was to assess the diagnostic accuracy of indirect digital radiography (PSP) and the conventional radiography in diagnosis of periapical lesion in invitro condition. Subjects and Methods: In this experimental-laboratoryresearch, 60 synthetic lesions (0.25, 0.5, 1mm) were formed under the apex of teeth by means of single-root premolar teeth replaced in the dried mandible bone of sheep. These lesions were imaged by two methods of digital and conventional radiography. Two maxillofacial radiologists examined the presence or absence of lesions in PSP radiographs and conventional processing in each periapical area. Results: The average accuracy of observation in conventional radiography for 0.25, 0.5 and 1 mm was 30, 46 and 85 % respectively, which was increased respectively to 46.7, 63.5 and 93.3 % for PSP radiographs. The conventional radiography had the specificity of 85 % in comparison with 66% for digital radiography. Conclusion: It seems that, particularly for small lesions, PSP has a higher diagnostic sensitivity in diagnosis of periapical lesions in comparison with conventional radiography.  }, keywords = {Periapical Lesion,(PSP) Digital radiography,Conventional radiography}, title_fa = {ارزیابی و مقایسه دقت تشخیصی رادیوگرافی دیجیتال غیرمستقیم و معمولی در تشخیص ضایعات پری اپیکال}, abstract_fa = {زمینهوهدف: ضایعه ناحیه پری اپیکال دندان یک مساله بالینی است که اغلب د ر کشف و تشخیص آن مشکلاتی وجود دارد. با توجه به اینکه تشخیص ضایعه پری اپیکال براساس مشاهده رادیولوسنسی در ناحیه پر ی اپیکال دندان می باشد، بنابراین در تشخیص ضایعه پری اپیکال، بررسی رادیوگرافی از اهمیت بسیاری برخوردار است. هدف از این مطالعه ارزیابی دقت تشخیصی رادیوگرافی دیجیتال غیرمستقیم (psp)  و معمولی در تشخیص ضایعات پری اپیکال در شرایط invitro است روش بررسی: در این پژوهش تجربی- آزمایشگاهی با استفاده از دندانهای پره مولر تک ریشهای که در ساکتهای استخوان مندیبل خشک گوسفند جایگذاری شدند60  ضایعه مصنوعی با ابعاد 25/0 و 5/0 در زیر اپکس دندانها ایجاد شد. از این ضایعات با دو روش معمولی و دیجیتال تصویربرداری به عمل آمد. دو متخصص رادیولوژی فک و صورت وجود یا عدم وجود ضایعه در تصاودر psp و معمولی از هر دندان را مورد بررسی قرار دادند. یافتهها: متوسط حساسیت مشاهدهگرها در رادیوگرافی معمولی در ضایعات  25/0mm ، 5/mm0، 1mm به ترتیب 30 درصد، 7/46 درصد ، 85 درصد  بود که با رادیوگرافی psp به 7/46 درصد ،5/63 درصد، 3/93 درصد افزایش یافت، ولی رادیوگرافی معمولی دارای ویژگی( 85 درصد) بیشتری نسبت به رادیوگرافی دیجیتال(7/66 درصد ) بود. نتیجهگیری: با توجه به نتایج مطالعهی حاضر به نظر می رسد که خصوصأ در ضایعات کوچک psp نسبت به رادیوگرافی معمولی حساسیت تشخیصی بالاتری در کشف ضایعات پری اپیکال دارا می باشد.  }, keywords_fa = {ضایعات پری آپیکال,رادیوگرافی دیجیتال(psp),رادیوگرافی معمولی}, url = {https://jsmj.ajums.ac.ir/article_47082.html}, eprint = {https://jsmj.ajums.ac.ir/article_47082_f7ef57d89b48666d43521782ce379934.pdf} }
