The aim of this study was to compare the effect of chlorhexidine onmicroleak age of two materials used as pit-and-fissure sealants. Subjects and Methods: The occlusal surface of sixty extracted non-carious molars were cleaned, etched with 38% phosphoric acid, rinsed and dried. The teeth were randomly divided in 4 groups, Group A: Bonding agent (DenTASTIC UNO™)+flowable composite (FLOWS-RITE™ ), Group B: Bonding agent + fissure sealant (SEAL-RITE™), Group C: chlorhexidine 2% (Consepsis®) + bonding agent + Flowable composite, Group D: Chlorhexidine 2% + bonding agent + fissure sealant. Following sealant placement, the teeth were thermocycled,then coated with two layers of nail lac, leaving exposed a 1.5-mm window around the sealant margins. Finally the specimens were immersed in 2% buffered methylene blue for 4 hours, sectioned longitudinally in a buccolingual direction and analyzed for leakage using a stereomicroscope. A 4-criteria ranked scale was used to score dye penetration and data were analyzed statistically using the Kruskal-Wallis and Mann-Whitney tests. Results: All materials exhibited dye penetration to some extension and no statistically significant difference was observed among the groups (P>0.05). Conclusion: The findings of this study showed that flowable composite resin had similar marginal seal as the conventional sealant. In addition, using chlorhexidine 2% prior to sealant placement seems to have no adverse effect on sealing ability of pits and fissure materials; however, further in vitro and in vivo studies are necessary.  }, keywords = {Microleakage,Fissure sealant,Flowable composite,Chlorhexidine}, title_fa = {بررسی مقایسه‌ای تأثیر استفاده از محلول کلرهگزیدین بر ریزنشت دو نوع مادۀ مورد استفاده در درمان پیت و فیشور سیلانت}, abstract_fa = {زمینه و هدف: سیل لبهای مواد فیشورسیلانت برای موفقیت درمان بسیار مهم است. هدف از این مطالعه، مقایسۀ اثر محلول کلرهگزیدین بر ریزنشت دو نوع مادۀ مورد استفاده در درمان فیشورسیلانت است. روش بررسی: سطح اکلوزال 60 دﻧﺪان مولر ﻛﺸﻴﺪه ﺷﺪۀ ﺳﺎﻟﻢ پس از تمیز شدن، با اسیدفسفریک 38% اچ شده، شسته و خشک گردید. دندانها ﺑﻪ چهار ﮔﺮوه ﻣﺴﺎوی ﺗﻘﺴﻴﻢ ﺷﺪند و هر گروه با روشی خاص سیلانت گذاری شد: گروهA: باندینگ (DenTASTIC) + کامپوزیت قابل جریان(FLOWS-RITE )، گروهB: باندینگ + فیشورسیلانت(SEAL-RITE)،گروهC: کلرهگزیدین2 %(Consepsis) + باندینگ+ کامپوزیت قابل جریان، گروهD: کلرهگزیدین 2%+ باندینگ + فیشورسیلانت. پس از سیلانتگذاری، نمونهها تحت چرخۀ حرارتی قرار گرفتند و تمام قسمتهای آنها توسط دو لایۀ لاک ناخن به گونهای پوشیده شد که تنها یک منفذ به فاصلۀ5/1 میلیمتری از لبۀ مادۀ ترمیمی بدون پوشش باقی بماند. سپس دندانها ﺑﻪﻣﺪت 4 ﺳﺎﻋﺖ در محلول متیلن بلو 2% ﻗﺮار داده شدند. در نهایت دندانها در ﺟﻬﺖ ﺑﺎﻛﻮﻟﻴﻨﮕﻮاﻟﻲ ﺑﺮشداده ﺷﺪﻧﺪ و رﻳﺰﻧﺸﺖ آنها ﺑﻪﻛﻤﻚ اﺳﺘﺮﻳﻮﻣﻴﻜﺮوﺳﻜﻮپ و با استفاده از یک مقیاس درجهبندی چهارگانه ﺑﺮرﺳﻲ ﮔﺮدﻳﺪ. آنالیز دادهها توسط آزﻣـﻮنکروسکال والیس و مان ویتنی صورت پذیرفت. ﻳﺎﻓتهﻫﺎ: رﻳﺰﻧﺸﺖ هیچ یک از چهار گروه مورد مطالعه، ﺑﺎ ﻳﻜﺪﻳﮕﺮ اﺧﺘﻼف آﻣـﺎری ﻧﺪاﺷﺖ (05/0P>). ﻧﺘﻴﺠﻪﮔﻴری: کامپوزیت قابل جریان سیل لبهای مشابهی با فیشورسیلانت معمول دارد. همچنین کاربرد کلرهگزیدین قبل از سیلانتگذاری، تأثیر مخربی روی میزان ریزنشت مواد سیلانت ندارد. مطالعات آزمایشگاهی و بالینی با تعداد نمونۀ بیشتر در این زمینه پیشنهاد میگردد.  }, keywords_fa = {رﻳﺰﻧﺸﺖ,ﻓﻴﺸﻮرسیلانت,ﻛﺎﻣﭙﻮزﻳﺖﻗﺎﺑﻞﺟﺮﻳﺎن,کلرهگزیدین}, url = {https://jsmj.ajums.ac.ir/article_47003.html}, eprint = {https://jsmj.ajums.ac.ir/article_47003_3a65c5b49a5958f3837e0ed6fa2bb3e7.pdf} }
