These fractures have high mortality rate and can lead to discomfort and disability, and affect quality of life of patients. On this base we planned this comprehensive study to assess the quality of life among hospitalized patients in Imam Khomeini hospital, the main center of Orthopedic in the South West of the Iran. Subjects and Methods: Eighty one intertrochanteric fracture cases were enrolled in this study and their follow-up was conducted to evaluate the quality of life (QoL) based on SF36 questionnaire. In addition, demographic data and clinical information include surgical procedures and the time between fractures and surgical treatments (fracture interval to surgery) were collected. Data were analyzed using SPSS V22 software. Results: Average quality of life for patients based on questionnaires was 48.5 ± 17.7. Quality of life in patients with age, economic status of patients and fracture-surgery interval were statistically significant. Multiple regression analysis showed that age, economic status of patients and fracture-surgery interval were significantly related to quality of life (P<0.001, P<0.0001, P <0.001 respectivel). Conclusion: The QoL of patients with femoral intertrochanteric fracture is moderate to low. These results show requiring follow-up and care as well as psychosocial support for patients especially in the older patients.    }, keywords = {Intertrochanteric fractures,Oopen reduction internal fixation,Quality of Life,Return to previous activities}, title_fa = {میزان بازگشت به فعالیت قبلی و کیفیت زندگی در بیماران جراحی‌شده شکستگی اینترتروکانتریک فمور}, abstract_fa = {زمینه وهدف: هدف از انجام این مطالعه، ارزیابی شکستگیهای اینترتروکانتریک یکی از سه زیرگروه شکستگیهای لگن میباشند که درمان جراحی نیاز دارند، این شکستگیها مورتالیتی بالایی داشته و میتوانند عوارض و ناتوانی بهدنبال داشته باشند و کیفیت زندگی بیماران را تحت تأثیر قرار دهند. در راستای همین موضوع، این پژوهش جهت بررسی کامل و جامع کیفیت زندگی این بیماران در بیمارستان امام خمینی (ره) اهواز بهعنوان مرکز اصلی ارتوپدی و جراحی استخوان جنوب غرب کشور طرحریزی شد. روش بررسی: این پژوهش با مطالعۀ پروندههای بیماران دچار شکستگی اینترتروکانتریک و پیگیری آنان با بررسی میزان کیفیت زندگی با پرسشنامۀ استاندارد SF36 صورت گرفت. همچنین اطلاعات دموگرافیک بیماران و اطلاعات درمانی شامل نوع عمل جراحی و فاصلۀ شکستگی تا عمل مورد بررسی و آنالیز قرار گرفت. اطلاعات با استفاده از نسخۀ 22 نرمافزار SPSS آنالیز شدند. یافتهها: 81 بیمار دچار شکستگی اینترتروکانتریک فمور بررسی شد. میانگین کیفیت زندگی بیماران بر اساس پرسشنامه، 7/17 5/48 بود. میزان کیفیت زندگی بیماران با سن، فاصلۀ زمانی شکستگی تا عمل جراحی و وضعیت اقتصادی بیماران رابطۀ معناداری داشت. (0001/0P<، 0001/0P<، 0002/0=P). نتیجهگیری: میزان کیفیت زندگی بیماران دچار شکستگی اینترتروکانتریک فمور بعد از عمل جراحی در حد متوسط رو به پایین قرار میگیرد. لذا لزوم پیگیری درمانی مراقبتی و همچنین حمایت روانی اجتماعی بیماران را که اکثر آنها مسن هستند را میطلبد.  }, keywords_fa = {شکستگی اینترتروکانتریک,جااندازی باز ثابت کردن داخلی,کیفیت زندگی,بازگشت به فعالیت قبلی}, url = {https://jsmj.ajums.ac.ir/article_46963.html}, eprint = {https://jsmj.ajums.ac.ir/article_46963_5f0de53a5f9311f594d3920b163487dd.pdf} }
