مقایسه تأثیر بلیچینگ با کارباماید پراکساید 15% و کارباماید پراکساید 20% بر روی سلامت پریودنتال

چکیده

مقدمه: بلیچنگ دندان به عنوان درمان زیبایی برای دندانهای تغییر رنگ یافته شناخته شده است. با این حال، ممکن است به بافت‌های پریودنتال آسیب برساند. هدف از این مطالعه مقایسه تأثیر بلیچینگ دندانی بین کارباماید پراکساید 15% و 20% بر سلامت پریودنتال بود.
مواد و روش‌ها: این کارآزمایی بالینی در 45 داوطلب سالم 40-20 ساله، نیازمند به بلیچینگ دندان، انجام شد. افراد بر اساس عوامل درمانی شامل کارباماید پراکساید 15% (CP15)، کارباماید پراکساید 20% (CP20) و پلاسبو (P) به سه گروه 15 تایی تقسیم شدند. پس از تجویز عامل‌ها به مدت هشت ساعت برای شش شب، شاخص پلاک (PI)، شاخص لثه (GI) و خونریزی ناشی از پروبینگ (BOP) در چهار نقطه زمانی (ابتدا، روزهای 7، 9 و 21 پس از بلیچینگ) مورد ارزیابی قرار گرفتند. داده‌ها توسط SPSS 18 با استفاده از ANOVA و آزمونهای T جفتی، مجذور کای و فریدمن تجزیه و تحلیل شدند(05/0>P).
نتایج: از نظر PI، GI یا BOP، اختلاف معنی‌داری بین سه گروه در هر نقطه زمانی وجود نداشت(05/0< P). طی دوره مطالعه، PI، GI یا BOP تغییرات اندک و عموماً غیر قابل توجهی را نشان دادند.
نتیجه‌گیری: طبق این یافته‌ها، بلیچینگ با کارباماید پراکساید 15% و 20% اثرات نامطلوبی بر سلامت پریودنتال ندارد.
