بررسی علل کشیدن دندان‌ها در بیماران 14 تا 60 ساله مراجعه کننده به بخش جراحی دانشکده دندانپزشکی دانشگاه جندی شاپور اهواز در سال 1395

چکیده

زمینه و هدف: به تعویق انداختن شروع بی دندانی هدف نهایی مراقبت های دندانپزشکی است. شناخت دلایل از دست رفتن دندانها می تواند در تعیین برنامه های پیشگیری مناسب کمک کننده باشد. مطالعه حاضر به منظور بررسی دلایل خارج کردن دندانهای دائمی و فاکتورهای دموگرافیک (سن ، جنس ، میزان تحصیلات) مرتبط با از دست رفتن دندانها است.
روش بررسی: در این مطالعه دلایل خارج کردن دندانهای دائمی در 384 بیمار که در سال 1395 به دانشکده دندانپزشکی دانشگاه علوم پزشکی اهواز مراجعه کرده بودند بررسی گردید. روش مطالعه توصیفی – کاربردی بود و داده ها توسط پرسشنامه و معاینه کلینیکی بیماران بدست می آمد. نتایج توسط نرم افزار spss بررسی شد.
یافته ها: در مجموع از 384 دندان خارج شده از 834 نفر نتایج نشان می داد که پوسیدگی (6/53 %) و بیماری پریودنتال (9/20 %) دلایل اصلی خارج کردن دندانها بودند. بیشترین دندان خارج شده دندان مولر اول فک پایین بود (6/28 %). فراوانی دندانهای خارج شده با افزایش میزان تحصیلات رابطه معکوسی را نشان داد (P≤0.05).
نتیجه گیری: بیشترین دندانها بر اثر پوسیدگی و بیماری پریودنتال خارج شده اند. پیشگیری از پوسیدگی و بیماری پریودنتال در همه سنین لازم و ضروری است. همچنین به منظور رعایت بهداشت دهان و بهبود زندگی روزانه باید به بیماران اطلاعات بیشتر در مورد بهداشت دهان و انجام ملاقات های منظم دندانپزشکی داده شود.
