مروری بر بوی بد دهان (هالیتوزیس)

چکیده

بوی نامطبوعی که از نفس افراد ساطع می شود به هالیتوزیس مشهور است. علل بوی بد دهان به دو دسته داخل دهانی و خارج دهانی تقسیم بندی میشوند. حدود 85 درصد از موارد بوی بد دهان علتی در داخل دهان دارند و عمدتا" در اثر فعالیت میکروارگانیزم ها و تخریب و تجزیه آمینو اسیدها به گازهای بد بو ایجاد می­شوند. احتمالا" گونه های مختلف میکروبی در این فرایند نقش دارند و مرتبط با یک گونه بخصوص میکروبی نیست. در بین علل داخل دهانی زبان باردار و عفونت های پریودنتال نقش عمده ای دارند. در بین علل خارج دهانی، لوزه ها و بخصوص التهاب مزمن لوزه از علل شایع بوی بد دهان هستند. در این بررسی،اپیدمیولوژی، طبقه بندی، علل داخل دهانی و علل خارج دهانی بحث شده است. در پایان به روشهای مختلف تشخیص و گزینه های مختلف درمان پرداخته شده است.
