The aim of this study was to examine influence of lateral tooth guidance on TMJ clicking and its etiologic factor. Subjects and Methods: One hundred subjects from students and nurses at dental school of Ahvaz university were voluntarily recruited and divided into 50 symptom-free subjects (control group) and 50 patients with TMJ clicking. The data of examination and interview were recorded in a questionnaire and analyzed with SPSS and Square-Chi. Results: 34% of patients had clicking in the right side and lateral retrusive guidance in the right side (P=0.009); and 66% of patients with TMJ had clicking in the left side and lateral retrusive guidance in the left side (P=0.000). In the control group (12%) had lateral retrusive guidance in the right side and 10 % had LR guidance in the left side The most important etiologic factors of TMJ were interferences followed by micro trauma and wear facet. Conclusion: According to the results of the study there is a significant relationship between lateral retrusive guidance and clicking in the TMJ}, keywords = {Lateral guidance,TMJ,Clicking}, title_fa = {بررسی ارتباط بین نوع راهنمای دندانی طرفی و صدای مفصلی (Clicking)}, abstract_fa = {زمینه و هدف: معاینات کلینکی نشان دادهاند که تماسهای اکلوزالی طرفی سمت کارگر میتواند باعث حرکت کندیل سمت کارگر به عقب شده و سبب درد و جابهجایی دیسک در مفصل گیجگاهی فکی شود. تماس شیب دیستال کانین ماکزیلاری و شیب مزیال کاسپ باکال پرمولر اول پایین، دلیل احتمالی کلیک قلمداد شده است. هدف از این تحقیق، بررسی ارتباط بین نوع راهنمای طرفی دندانی شامل طرفی پسگرایی (Lr) و طرفی پیشگرایی (Lp) با صدای مفصل گیجگاهی فکی (Clicking) و عوامل اتیولوژیک آن میباشد.  روش بررسی: 100 نفر از دانشجویان، پرسنل و بیماران دانشکدۀ دندانپزشکی اهواز انتخاب و به دو گروه کنترل شامل 50 نفر بدون علامت و سالم و 50 بیمار با صدای مفصلی تقسیم شدند. اطلاعات حاصل از مصاحبه و معاینۀ مفصل و معاینات تماسهای دندانی در حرکات طرفی در هر دو گروه در پرسشنامهای ثبت و توسط نرمافزار SPSS طبقهبندی و با تست Square-Chi (کای دو) بررسی شد. یافتهها: در گروه بیمار، 34 درصد موارد کلیک سمت راست و راهنمای قدامی طرفی نوع (Lr) در سمت راست داشتند (Chi Square =  6.832 ,P=0.009) و 66 درصد دارای کلیک چپ و راهنمای قدامی طرفی نوع (Lr) در سمت چپ بودند  (Chi Square = 33.227  ,  P-Value=0000). در گروه کنترل تنها 12 درصد از افراد سالم Lr در حرکت طرفی راست داشتند  و 10 درصد واجد Lr در حرکت طرفی چپ بودند. در بین عوامل مداخلهگر تماسهای زودرس بیشترین نقش و میکروتروماها و سایشهای دندانی در ردههای بعدی قرار داشتند. نتیجهگیری: با توجه به نتایج این مطالعه میان حرکت خلفی کندیل سمت کارگر و صداهای مفصلی رابطۀ معناداری وجود دارد.}, keywords_fa = {راهنمای طرفی,مفصل تمپورومندیبولار,کلیک}, url = {https://jsmj.ajums.ac.ir/article_47287.html}, eprint = {https://jsmj.ajums.ac.ir/article_47287_f5d4c938d36f07acca0d0c8f8ab8a453.pdf} }
