The cyst arises from epithelial remnants from the nasopalatine duct. These cysts are usually asymptomatic, but the most commonly reported clinical symptom is swelling in the anterior part of the palate, just behind the palatal papilla. This swelling is not always on midline. The recurrence of this is rare (2%). In this report, a 21-year-old man from Ahvaz, with the chief complaints of numbness, anterior teeth mobility, intraoral swelling and facial asymmetry, is reported. On clinical examination, a nontender swelling on the midline of hard palate and buccal vestibule, covered by normal mucosa was seen. The crown of central incisors was displaced mesially. In panoramic, maxillary occlusal cross sectional, anterior maxillary periapical and computed tomography views, a well-defined unilocular radiolucency with corticated margins was seen in the anterior region of maxilla. Biopsy of the lesion was planned and final pathologic diagnosis was “nasopalatine duct cyst”. Therefore, nasopalatine duct cyst is one of the differential diagnoses of unilocular radiolucencies in the anterior region of maxilla. Histopathologic examinations help us to reach the correct diagnosis and disburden us from unnecessary treatments.  }, keywords = {Nasopalatine duct cyst,Non-odontogenic cyst,Developmental cyst}, title_fa = {کیست مجرای نازوپالاتین: گزارش مورد}, abstract_fa = {کیست مجرای نازوپالاتین، شایعترین کیست غیر ادنتوژنیک رشدی – تکاملی حفرۀ دهان است و 10 درصد از کیستهای فکی را تشکیل میدهد. این کیست از بقایای اپیتلیوم مجرای نازوپالاتین منشأ میگیرد. اکثر این کیستها بدون علامت بوده و در صورت وجود علایم، شایعترین علامت، تورمی کوچک در خلف پاپیلای کام میباشد که نسبت به خط وسط همیشه بهصورت متقارن قرار نمیگیرد. میزان عود این ضایعه2 درصد میباشد. در این گزارش، مردی 21 ساله اهل اهواز معرفی میشود، که شکایت اصلی وی بیحسی، لقشدگی دندانهای قدامی، تورم داخل دهانی و غیر قرینگی در صورت بود. در معاینۀ بالینی تورم بدون درد، در خط میانی کام سخت و وستیبول باکال، پوشیدهشده با مخاط نرمال، لقشدگی و انحراف مزیالی تاج دندانهای سانترال اینسایزور مشاهده شد. تصویربرداری پانورامیک، اکلوزال کراس سکشنال فک بالا، پری اپیکال دندانهای قدامی فک بالا و توموگرافی کامپیوتری (CT)، رادیولوسنسی تکحفره با حدود مشخص، منظم و کورتیکال را در قدام فک بالا نشان داد.از ضایعه بیوپسی بهعمل آمد و تشخیص پاتولوژی نهایی، "کیست مجرای نازوپالاتین" بود. بنابراین در صورت وجود رادیولوسنسی تکحفره در قدام فک بالا، کیست مجرای نازوپالاتین را باید بهعنوان یک تشخیص افتراقی مدنظر قرار داد. بررسی هیستوپاتولوژی ضایعه، ما را به تشخیص صحیح نایل نموده و از درمانهای غیر ضروری بینیاز میگرداند.  }, keywords_fa = {کیست مجرای نازوپالاتین,کیست غیرادنتوژنیک,کیست رشدی-تکاملی}, url = {https://jsmj.ajums.ac.ir/article_47273.html}, eprint = {https://jsmj.ajums.ac.ir/article_47273_1e1bf867619c59ffb1f2ce3e903be0d9.pdf} }
