Aim of this study was to compare speech sound disorders in monolingual and bilingual educable mental retarded children. Subjects and Methods: In this descriptive analytic study, the number of participants was 354. One hundred forty two children were monolingual and 212 were Arabic-Persian bilingual. All of them were male. Results were analyzed with SPSS version 18, using chi-square test. Results: Prevalence of speech sound disorders in monolingual children was 43 % and in bilinguals was 17.9 % (P<0.001). There was significant relation between speech sound disorders and bilinguism. Conclusion: In correlation with previous literature findings, the results from this study showed that speech sound disorders are more prevalent in mental retarded children comparing with mentally normal children. In addition, this disorder is more prevalent in monolingual children and supports the positive effect of bilingualism on articulation and phonological characteristics  }, keywords = {Speech Sound Disorders,Bilinguism,Monolinguism}, title_fa = {مقایسۀ اختلال صداهای گفتاری در کودکان عقب‌ماندۀ آموزش‌پذیر فارس زبان و عرب_فارس زبان}, abstract_fa = {زمینه و هدف: کودکان مبتلا به اختلال صداهای گفتاری ((Speech Sound Disorders عمده­ترین گروه از مراجعه­کننده به آسیب­شناسان گفتار و زبان را تشکیل می­دهند. هدف از این مطالعه، مقایسۀ اختلال در صداهای گفتاری در کودکان عقب ماندۀ آموزش­پذیر فارس زبان و عرب_فارس زبان است. روش بررسی: این مطالعه از نوع توصیفی تحلیلی بود. تعداد افراد شرکت­کننده 354 نفر بود. 142 نفر تک­زبانه بودند و 212 نفر دو زبانه عرب_فارس زبان بودند. سن شرکت­کنندگان در پژوهش بین 5 تا 10 سال بود. این پژوهش فقط در جنس مذکر انجام شد. از آزمون­های رسمی و غیر رسمی در تشخیص اختلال صداهای گفتاری استفاده شد. یافته­ها با استفاده از نسخۀ 18 نرم­افزار آماری SPSS آنالیز شد. مقایسۀ اختلال در دو گروه تک­زبانه و دو زبانه با آزمون کای اسکوئر انجام شد. یافته­ها: شیوع اختلال در صداهای گفتاری در کودکان عقب­ماندۀ ذهنی تک­زبانۀ 43 درصد و در دو زبانه­ها 9/17 بود. 0001/0= pبود. یافت­ها ارتباط معناداری بین اختلال در صداهای گفتاری و دو زبانگی نشان داد.  نتیجه­گیری: یافته­ها در مقایسه با متون مشخص کرد که اختلال در صداهای گفتاری در کودکان عقب­ماندۀ ذهنی نسبت به کودکان سالم شیوع بالاتری داشت. هم­چنین این اختلال در کودکان تک­زبانه شایع­تر بود و این اثر مثبت دو زبانگی را بر روی اختلال در صداهای گفتاری در کودکان عقب­ماندۀ ذهنی نشان داد.  }, keywords_fa = {اختلال صداهای گفتاری,دو زبانگی,تک‌زبانگی}, url = {https://jsmj.ajums.ac.ir/article_46915.html}, eprint = {https://jsmj.ajums.ac.ir/article_46915_627d015cc29f23c7cd1920b3592360b1.pdf} }
