Therefore, the aim of this study was to evaluate the efficacy of maintaining the azygos vein in esophageal fistula in esophageal atresia patients. Materials and Method: This study was performed on 40 neonates (20 patients in the preserved group and 20 patients in the ligation group). After recording the patient's demographic data, the complications of both surgical procedures, duration of surgery and hospital stay were recorded. Chi-square and t-tests were used to compare the data. Results: In the present study, it was found that the maintenance of azygos vein in neonates with esophageal atresia can increase the duration of surgery (P <0.05), but it also reduces the hospitalization and ICU stay and, on the other hand, the incidence of various complications such as pneumonia and anastomosis leak decreased. (P <0.05) Conclusion: Therefore, in neonates who are candidates for surgical treatment of esophageal atresia and who are admitted to the surgical department, this surgical method can be used instead of the classical}, keywords = {Esophageal atresia,preservation of azygos vein,Complications}, title_fa = {اثربخشی نگهداشتن ورید آزیگوس در بیماران آترزی مری دارای فیستول مری-تراشه}, abstract_fa = {مقدمه آترزی مری (Esophageal atresia (EA)) از شایع ترین آنومالی های مادرزادی در نوزادان بوده و در هر 4500-3000 تولد زنده یک مورد آترزی مری اتفاق می افتد. علت بروز آترزی مر و فیستول های تراکئوازوفاژیال(tracheo-esophageal fistula(TEF)) مشخص نمی باشد. بطور طبیعی این دولوله تا روز 32 حاملگی از یکدیگر جدا می گردند. چنانچه عمل جدا شدن به صورت ناقص صورت پذیرد، طیف وسیعی از مالفورماسیون ها به وجود خواهند آمد. آترزی مری همراه با فیستول تراشه به مری یکی از شایع ترین عمل های جراحی اورژانس در نوزادان می باشد.(1-4) آنومالی های همراه در نوزادان مبتلا به آترزی مری شایع بوده و تقریبا 50 درصد این نوزادان مبتلا به آنومالی در دیگر ارگان ها می باشند. آترزی مری به عنوان بخشی از مجموعه نواقصی از قبیل نواقص ستون فقرات، آنورکتال، قلب، تراکوازوفاژیال، کلیوی و اندام ها می باشد. به طور کلی آترزی مری را می توان به دو دسته شایع و غیرشایع تقسیم بندی کرد که نوع شایع 85 درصد موارد را شامل می شود و حالتی می باشد که همراه با آترزی مری یک فیستول بین قسمت دیستال مری و تراشه دیده می شود. تقریبا در 20 درصد نوزادان متولد شده با آترزی مری بعضی از اشکال بیماری های مادرزادی قلب مشاهده می شود. همراهی بیماری های مادرزادی قلب با آنومالی های دستگاه گوارش می تواند باعث افزایش مورتالیتی و موبیدیتی}, keywords_fa = {Esophageal atresia,preservation of azygos vein,Complications}, url = {https://jsmj.ajums.ac.ir/article_126545.html}, eprint = {https://jsmj.ajums.ac.ir/article_126545_a4d171e56ae496e70bf8566c7da9de03.pdf} }
